Just wondering.
With the nice weather round here, I'm sure there had to be some sort of outdoor activities going on amongst the members of the board!
GL, how were things down florida way?
Me?
Well, Friday was the main day of weekend fun for me.
To the gym then out to the P L for a little sun and swim.
Went to the aquarium to see the new frog thingee, hit seafood fest for a few then to the funny bone for the 8:00 show. Stopped at My Friends restaurant (behle street cafe) afterward.
Saturday worked pretty much all day. (tried to get some of the blueberry pie ice cream that night but they were sold out, have to try again another time)
Sunday did the free store donation trade for a breakfast sammi thang then work, dinner and a margarita at margaritas then home to watch the Cubbies beat the Cards and some of the Olympics (very impressive thus far)
What about everyone else?
Do anything interesting?

Went to the beach Saturday evening, put a stereo in my car yesterday morning. Yard work in the afternoon and then Skyline for dinner. Pretty good weekend.

Speaking of the stereo, almost no store carries Am/FM/Cassette anymore. I have hundreds of tapes, and maybe 50 CDs, so I wanted a cassette player. I ended up getting one at AutoZone and had to get new speakers as the wiring on my car does not match any wiring charts I have gotten for it. So I just got new speakers and wired them to the new stereo. I still have to get speakers for the back but at least I have sound from the front for now. I'll have to take out the back seat and remove the trim from along the doors and there's 1/2 day shot...

I sat in class from 1-8 on Friday and 9-5 on Saturday. International accounting, Dr. Axel Haller, professor - visiting from Regensburg, Germany. I thought about gae when Dr. Haller injected his political views into the discussion. Inside, I chuckled.
Sunday, mowed my yard. Mowed my next door neighbor's yard. Mowed the yard across the street. Neighbor across the street offered a free night at the Blue Wisp as compensation.Fortunately the yards are small.
An architect friend came over to discuss plans for a backyard structure, with the intent of being on a home improvement show that partially films in Cincinnati. Casting is interested; now if I can get them some interesting plans. Stripped the paint off the back door and got about half of it primed. Watched the Olympics. Read 1/3 of chapter 29 of Corporate Law.
Nothing but fun times and giggles for The Big Sexy.

I went to Blue Wisp once. The jazz ensemble "performing" looked like they pulled their clothes out of a dumpster. I told them at the door I didn't pay a cover charge for something I could see out on the street for free and I left. I never went back. The place had all the elements of a great club, except talent.

Interesting.
Very different weekends indeed.
Tough to find many newer models with cassette players GL, just as it's tough to find cassettes!
